This is our Block of the Quarter! That's right! This one will come out quarterly meaning only 4 times per year. This will take 3 years to make which will not only be easier on the wallet but will also give you added time to complete the blocks. Now that sounds like a great idea to me! Here's how it will work.
When you sign up you will be sent the first block which is the tulips block. You will be automatically be billed each quarter for $38.90 (the cost of the block, fabrics, background and pattern for that block. Then when all the blocks for the middle are complete you will receive the borders in the final 2 quarters of the program. The cost of these borders are $79.95 each plus $7.95 for each pattern containing instructions for the border pattern. In the block of the quarter, you will receive all the fabrics you need to complete that block. As for the sashings (the green, thin fabrics surrounding the blocks and borders, that is up to you). As I was thinking about it and planning this out, it became clear to me that there are so many possibilities here and this is an opportunity for us to customize it to our own personal taste. If I get around to making this one, I might do a royal and navy blue sashing and border! I do hope you will join us for this beautiful quilt! It is sure to become a treasure!
*Also since the original launch of the first Spring Flowers Block of the Quarter program already going on, there has been quite an increase in the cost of fabric. That is why this program is slightly higher than the previous one. I long for the old days when high quality fabrics that we put in quilts like these came at better prices.
