Women Who Bind Us Together A Famly Tree of Faith Book

This quilt and the pattern are representative of Biblical women.  Their personal humanness, characteristics, and situations that are not so different from ours today.  Throughout their stories you will find situations and events you may relate to. Each block in the quilt represents a different woman. Symbolism is woven throughout the quilt - like the braided tree trunk representing how we are woven together. Each block will be explained in the booklet. Blocks like the “Garden of Eden” block are traditional quilt blocks with their own symbolism.  That block traditionally has a red center square representing ‘the apple’ and four rivers flowing out from the center.  Some blocks I chose for women who did not already have one named for them.  For example, I chose a ‘Double Crown’ for Queen Esther.
